Lucas, I cant believe you'd fall for that show. You know, 50% of what he does is staged and the other 50% is just bad advice, like crawling through openings in the foot of glaciers to cross terrain in Alaska.

Now their boats have a propensity for forgetting where the lot line is in Dixon Enterance.
That and BC's salmon management sucks and they want to make up for by penalizing SE Alaska fishermen.

I wish the feds would shut them out of our fisheries. They come here, steal the crab and then leave nothing for the people here. All the profits head south.

It's been that way for over a hundred years, sadly - Seattle gets fat gouging residents of Alaska.

Yeah, and a lot of it is because Providence hospital in ANC just acts like a MASH unit for the people of Alaska and sends anything worse than an ankle sprain down to Seattle where the victim and his family have to shell out big bucks to get there and pay for hotel rooms and eats. I think Providence is in cahoots with the Seattle medical community.
And to bring this back around to the topic, just look at what happened to Phil on DC. First thing they did was ship him to Seattle for treatment. Pathetic for a hospital in a city the size of ANC to be doing that.

That is rather odd. Is it that they can't get qualified doctors / surgeons to work in Alaska?
Level I – Regional Resource Center – Level I Trauma Centers generally serve large cities or population-dense areas. A Level I Trauma Center is responsible for providing leadership in research, professional and community education. There are no Level I Trauma Centers in Alaska because, there are no trauma research and teaching facilities in Alaska.
