Moscow is hell on earth. There are no reedeeming qualities about it. From the experience at the Consulate and the Embassy, to the actual flight, to the time in the city, it's a disaster to go to.
I actually find the beaurocracy adds to the charachter in an odd way and, after a while, you know how the police/official/guard/person with what you want (delete as applicable) is after, so you can either call them out or give it to them straight off and save yourself some time.

Madrid - Hot sweaty version of Birmingham (the UK one)
Hot, sweaty, and well over 30 degrees right now. That´s why I´m in a nice air conditioned room, but there´s no way it´s as bad as Birmingham - nothing on Earth is, you just can´t get any worse!
Here´s my list:
France (the whole of it), In general, everytime I go there or fly AF I say I´m never going to do it again, but this time I really mean it, I´ve had it with the attitude and their version of "service".
Mariuopol, Ukraine. It´s rated as one of the world´s most polluted cities and is basically full of steel workers, sailors and prostitutes. Even if someone gives you a free ticket, don´t go the "women" there are rough, ugly and god knows what they´ve got!
Manila, Philippines. God that place stank, and there is really nothing to look at - a few oldish churches, a fort, some big volcano crators in the nearby countryside, and that´s it. Plus the place is full of hookers and women looking for western husbands, you can´t go five paces without being solicited.
Jolo, Philippines. Now I know just how dangerous it is for westeners there, I won´t be going back.
Hull, England. For those of you who are familiar with UK politics, you may remember that strange figure called John Prescott. Well, having been to Hull for several days, I was worried to find that he´s normal... there are some odd people in Hull. Lee/BMIFlyer, sorry mate if you´re reading this - just goes to show Hull has some normal folks as well
Birmingham, England. It´s got lots of facilities, it´s got great transport links, and it´s got some amazing countryside fairly nearbye. Yet it´s still crap, the people sound depressing and are so ridiculously small minded that I found it was like talking to a 5 year old sometimes. There are of course exceptions, but when every other night you´ve got police helicopters over you and murders every day with riots on the streets, it kind of puts you off.
