That Wolverine Movie

Everything that would not belong anywhere else.

I don't really like Terminator-type movies featuring far-fetched storylines whose primary plot element involves excessive violence. The latest one to fit this category is that Wolverine movie. I see it advertised and I've watched the previews. There's obviously an audience for it, seeing that it just overtook Hannah Montana at the box office. But, what makes a person spend hours upon hours making his own wolverine claws? I spoze it's the same drive that makes a 38 year old man design, build, and sew his own Star Wars and Star Trek costume.

I bet his mom made him tidy up that mess :))

The whole Wolverine character just doesn't work in the X-Men movies, especially considering Hugh Jackman is such a prissy thesp in real life {twocents}
A million great ideas...

I don't know any 38 year old who would sew his own costume, but if a certain LEO had done so, I would not be surprised...

Considering he probably lives with his mother, that may not be far from the truth! {laugh}

I'm sure you are ready to trot out and defend your hobbies before going after other peoples, right?

I mean, what would drive a thirty eight year old man to spend several hours each weekend with a camera and a notepad at the airport?

To each their own.

Oh, but ... the movie was absolutely horrible. Family obligation.. couldn't get out of it.

Actually.... I keep a starling in a cage in my living room. And I talk to him as if he were a baby. When it comes to hobbies, we're all a little nuts. :))

It was a crap movie. I won't even bother with specifics but the plot was predictible, contrived, and the animation sucked.

The part where he first sees his metal claws in the bathroom of the farmhouse was terrible. It looked like they drew the blades in Roger Rabbit style.

I agree with the hobby thing. Nothing can get between me and my armadillo breeding.

We have a trekkie at work.. When he was new he didn't have all of his uniform yet because our uniform shop sucks.. He mentioned he had a Star Fleet uniform. I asked him what color it was.. He said blue. I told him if it were yellow he could wear it to work.
