What an epic, epic series this is turning out to be. If you haven't seen any yet, aren't a big NBA fan, i dont care! This is some must see TV.

I am a pretty big Celtics fan, so this has been nerve wracking as hell, but you've got to respect what the Bulls are doing too.

Can't wait for game 6, but I think this is destined to go 7. I only wish I had followed through with my idea to go to game 3 :(.

BS on how they put the whistles away. I don't care if the game ends on a technicality like the Wings - Bluejackets series ended with the Wings getting a power play with 90 seconds remaining. The BJs broke a rule, it had to be called. All the flagrant crap that was going on in that game...*shakes head.

Fantastic series, with neither team giving an inch. What is amazing to me is that a team (albeit a young one) like the Bulls, at full strength, still locked in battle with a team missing a few key players. It's a testament to the heart of the Celtics that they're ahead in this series. And it shows that being there before CAN be a huge advantage. 'Da Bulls blew their best chance to take a hold of the series last night in game 5. But I see this one going 7.

Problems for the C's is they'll have to slog through another tough series against either Philly or Orlando-both of whom give them fits-even to make it to the Conference finals. I just can't see them doing that, even with all the guts they've shown so far.

The East crown will run through Cleveland, no matter what, and I just can't see anyone beating the Cavs at home right now.

And GQ, I do agree with you to an extent on the ref's swallowin the Whistles. That foul Rondo put on Miller was flagrant in any other situation, and it should have been 2 shots and the ball for the Bulls. But Miller missed the first shot anyway.

I'll admitt that I am a Bulls fan, but trying to not be partial, I still believe that it was a flagrant foul on Miller as well. I'm not one to harp on calls though, as they typically go both ways.

This series has broken an NBA record for most overtime games and its not even over yet. I am rooting for the Bulls and hope they will bring back game 7 in Chicago! :P

Come on Bulls!!! We're gonna pull out a win, I feel it.

And remember, Falcon, Chicago is missing Deng. He's no KG, but he's still huge to that team.

I think the NBA is fixed like WWE, so I'm not that big of a fan, but I hope that Denver wins. I like George Karl.

Screw Rondo. I hope he likes this game, cause he's getting a suspension for his actions the last 2 games.

3 OTs again? Damn. Whomever wins this series is going to be dog tired. Hell, I remember the triple OT in the Stanley Cup Finals last year. I had gotten to the point where I was hoping Pittsburgh would actually win so I didn't have stay up any longer (and drink more) and watch the love fest. As it was, work was hell the next morning....

Why didn't the Bulls foul Allen? And they couldn't even get a shot off after that.

Why? This game was maybe the best of the season in the NBA.

This series has broken a few records with all the overtimes and last minute calls.

Go Bulls!

It was one hell of a game, but I'm a Rockets fan. Now that the Rockets game is a blowout, I'm looking back at the Chicago game and realizing what an amazong game that was.

Rockets will destroy the lakers in 6.
Spicoli 01 May 09, 04:16Post
The NBA wants Cavs-Lakers and the NBA will get Cavs-Lakers.

I'd like to see Denver win the whole thing, but they don't generate enough ratings for the NBA to justify them winning anything.

{shy} {cheeky} How does one team destroy another if they don't sweep them? Lakers for the win.

It was hard to be a Bulls fan after Michael left and Krause continued the implosion with the draft of the twin towers (Chandler and Curry), but seeing the Bulls succeed now has been gratifying, especially against the Celtics. I didn't give the Bulls much chance, though, even w/Garnett out.
Spicoli 02 May 09, 07:40Post
I really got disintersted in the NBA after the Bulls broke up. I wasn't a fan of theirs, it just gave everyone a team to hate. You either were a bandwagoner, or you hated them. I fell into the "Hated them" camp. Plus, the lockout was horrible too as Shawn Kemp's career was never the same after it. Dude was my favorite player.

The final nail in the coffin was when the Sonics got moved to OKC. Now I have no reason to watch really.

That was so sad to watch. It's one thing for the owners to be a-holes, but the city as well? Stern didn't help, either. Fans just flat out got screwed.
