Aviation Quote

The time will come, when thou shalt lift thine eyes
To watch a long-drawn battle in the skies.
While aged peasants, too amazed for words,
Stare at the flying fleets of wondrous birds.
England, so long mistress of the sea,
Where winds and waves confess her sovereignty,
Her ancient triumphs yet on high shall bear
And reign the sovereign of the conquered air.

- Thomas Gray, 1737

I've been at #8 before . . . I'll be dogged if I can get it. I'm not looking it up, but I'm convinced it's in Florida . . . cause the word Florida is on the plate. I had a habit if printing off the airport maps every time I'd fly, just for fun. GEEK! And I've been there. Just can't get it. The rest . . . well, not so much.
