Air Canada's flight dispatchers are based at the airline’s operations center near Toronto Pearson International Airport and assist flight crew in the preparation for flight departures and arrivals.

Alaska selected Mekanism, an agency based in New York and San Francisco, ending its relationship with Seattle-based WONGDOODY, a spokeswoman for the carrier said. Mekanism’s clients include Starbucks, Amazon and Nordstrom Rack. Mekanism is opening a Seattle office.

The E-175 aircraft offer 76 seats and more overhead-bin space. "Most seats fly out of here full, and for the airline that's a very positive sign," said Kim Hunt, marketing director for the airport.
LinkLufthansa takes second A320neoLufthansa has taken delivery of its second Airbus A320neo in Hamburg. Its first A320neo, which was delivered Jan. 20 with Pratt & Whitney’s PW1100G engines, will keep operating on domestic routes within Germany until its engine issues are resolved, according to Lufthansa chairman and CEO Carsten Spohr. The first A320neo delivery in January followed a delay from the re-engined narrowbody’s planned end-of-2015 delivery schedule. The engine was certified in November, but in December Qatar Airways stepped back as the planned first operator due to the engine restrictions.

The deal for Airbus A350-900s, likely to be announced at this week's Singapore Airshow, would be valued at about USD$1.8 billion at list prices.
LinkPSA Airlines receives 100th Bombardier CRJ operated by AmericanPSA Airlines has taken delivery of a Bombardier CRJ900, which will be operated for American Airlines under the American Eagle brand. This is the 100th aircraft—which is one of 24 CRJ900 regional jets ordered by American Airlines in December 2014—will be operated under the American Eagle regional brand. PSA Airlines’ fleet is entirely comprised of CRJ200, CRJ700 and CRJ900 aircraft.
