There's always more to the story than what's reported. I'd like to know if he sent back the food or complained about it. I can't see someone going to the trouble of "cooking" up such a meal without provocation.

I would expect that, at the Waldorf Astoria, I should be able to complain about food without getting something like that in return.

I dunno if I can believe the story. It didn't hit the news big here yet - a brief report in our main tabloid, "Bild", but that says no more than what was said in above video.

Though it appears that the incident genuinely happened, I wonder just what he'd done to incurr such wrath?

That said, how do you miss a tampon? I mean im not familiar with them, but dammit im pretty sure they dont look like a steak. In fact, im positive it does not look like a steak.

I can't believe they would do that. Servers and chiefs wait for years to get to work there. I doubt that they would jeopardize their job by doing something as stupid as this. I am willing to bet the guy put it in their himself.

That's interesting, and gross too.

I stayed at the Waldorf, never ate at the hotel though; but the staff was world class and nothing short of awesome. It appeared they took pride in what they did. Now I'm willing to bet most of the staff is like that so I have my doubts about it. I'm wondering if he came over to the US with this idea as he knows how sue happy Americans are, so maybe he wanted to get a crack at some $$ too?
