DEN vs SEA

I'm not a fan of any of the Manning's - but I just don't see him losing this game.....

DEN is a one-dimensional pass-happy team that will be utterly shut down by SEA's pass rush and secondary. SEA all the way.

One-dimensional teams don't reach Super Bowls. Seattle has a good defense for sure - but they will NOT shut down Peyton Manning.

One thing I think Seattle should do is leave that a$$hat Richard Sherman in Seattle. They shouldn't even carry him to NY, much less let him play. I know he's good, but he's also and embarrassment to the Seahawks. {twocents}

If Belicheck couldn't figure him out this time, SEA won't either. DEN also has enough blueprint material to use - the Colts win and the other two. Basically, it rides on Denver's running game like the other teams who beat SEA. And Denver's backfield is stronger than Indy's and Zona's. if the Seahawks keep giving runners room, if Wilson keeps playing low-key, Manning could, by the end of it all, end up w/a field day.

Sherman talks a lot of $hit, love him or hate him - he gets inside your head. And he's far from an embarrassment - he's a shutdown corner that was targeted the fewest number of times all season while also pulling in the most interceptions. He is an amazing talent to watch; even if he is somewhat polarizing.

As a die-hard Saints fan I can't, in all good conscience, root for Seattle. That said, I think Denver has too many offensive weapons for Seattle to handle. Secondly, if Denver's defense even halfway shows up, the Lombardi trophy is theirs.

FYI, just happened to catch Rush Limbaugh call Sherman quite a smart man, despite what happened. Sherman did end up graduating from Stanford. So that is the end of that for me.

However, being a 9ers fan, can't root for Seattle one bit.

DEN's defense has found itself the past few games. If it can stifle the Pats for 3 quarters (not to mention Rivers and Wisenhunt for 3 quarters)...imagine what it can do to a fairly one-dimensional (running) offense. It won't be no picnic, but I think Manning can put up enough points to win.

BCA- my issue wasn't with Sherman's post game interview, it was with his stupid shit on the field.

Percy Harvin is expected to play; that's huge right there. And Fluffy, I wouldn't be so quick to write-off Tate, Baldwin, and Kearse. This will be a very close, contested battle (one for the ages), but I still think SEA can make it happen.

Las Vegas is having a hard time picking odds for the winner.

Is that the point spread? If so, pretty close.

At the end of the game (in-spite of Crabtree's incessant smack talk and poor performance) Sherman tried to be a good sport about it to get a shove to the face for his effort. That would set me off too.

I ran over to Crabtree to shake his hand but he ignored me. I patted him, stuck out my hand and said, “Good game, good game.” That’s when he shoved my face, and that’s when I went off.
