Goodbye, Kepler...:(

Everything that is sub-orbital or beyond.

The most successful planet-hunting telescope in history may have suffered a crippling technical failure, endangering its mission to find another Earth orbiting a nearby star.

Now I'm sad, you could always count in regular updates from Kepler. We'll see how many other surprises are hidden in the data already collected.

Irrelevant in Kepler's case as it's in solar orbit trailing Earth by approximately 40 million miles.

It lasted longer than expected, but still sad to see it go. I have a great program called 'Exoplanet' that kept up with all the updates from the mission, and they were quite frequent.
