For the 1st time in 15 years, a person has been gored to death during the "Running of the Bulls" event in San Fermin.

Watch the all tan coloured bull at the front from about 22 seconds. He catches a guy and tosses him straight over his back and into the path of his fellow soon-to-be-Tbones.

Believe it or not its relatively safe. People get gored all the time but people rarely die. The day I ran 6 people got gored but no one died. There was blood all over the route afterwards though.

The last death was in 95 and was American I believe. Considering that thousands run every year, it isn't that bad.

Notice how sharp the bulls horns are as well. Whenever you see people messing with bulls in the US or latin america they shaved the horns so they are round.

They don't play that in Pamplona.



BTW, the video of today's goring is on the front page of the web page i posted. It got him right in the Check. (in the tradition of taint-its chest and neck)
