Not quite according to the story.
Einstein said two things were infinite; the universe, and stupidity. He wasn't sure about the first, but he was certain about the second.

What do you mean?

"A resolution, I think, would open up to contrary views to — that are not necessary at this time to be expressed in association with a resolution whose purpose is quite different," Pelosi said at a Capitol Hill news conference where she discussed various legislative matters.

She's not stating what her opinion is, only that dissenting views would crop up. Whether she would be dissenting is another matter.
Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., who posted a video on YouTube calling Michael Jackson a "pervert" and a "pedophile," has pledged to do all he could to block the resolution.

When members of the Congressional Black Caucus held a moment of silence in the House after Jackson died June 25, some lawmakers walked out of the chamber.

Why would she hold a vote on a resolution where her party may not appear 'together'?

Who cares what her opinion is? She made the right move.

A moment of silence? Not to cheer on the man's demise, but he shouldn't get a moment of silence. He should get a "goodbye says it all" and move on.

A resolution regarding Michael Jackson? Are you f'ing kidding me?

You idiots (on both sides) don't have anything better to spend your time on that a resolution to recognize Michael Jackson?

Economy still in the shitter. Jobless numbers rising. Foreclosures increasing. Millions of Americans wondering how they are going to take care of their familly.

But the hell with all that, lets spend some time contemplating whether or not to recognize Michael Jackson.

Disgusting behavior.
