I'd just like to emphasize a few key points, as we occasionally receive questions about these.

We do not reject any aviation-themed photos.

We do screen them for quality. But we do that only after your photo was added to the database, and is available for everybody to view, comment, like or share it.

Our screening is a process to select photos for the homepage.

The worst that can happen to you is that we decide to not put your photo on the homepage. (Which, given the fact that we can only put 24 photos up there every day, really should not be considered a rejection.)

And if we do not put your photo on the homepage ourselves, but our members and visitors will love it, it will still end up there.

You will not receive penalties for uploading the 'wrong' photos.

Did you try a creative editing technique and are looking for feedback? Did you snap a drive-by shot with your phone at the airport, that you want to share? Would you like some help or tips for editing?

Just upload the photos. Post them in the Photo Editing & Feedback forum, if you are looking for feedback. But please do not worry about our screening. Chances are, you won't even notice it.

What happens to your photo after you uploaded it?

Right now, it briefly disappears. That's not ideal, we will try to improve it.

What happens is that your photo is being checked for content. Just to make sure no one uploads ads or nude pictures here. We know you won't do that, but unfortunately, there are spammers out there as well.

That check doesn't take long, usually just a couple of minutes. After that, your photo is online and available. You will not receive a notification about it. Just check again after a few minutes, and your photo should be there.

Members with a First Class membership can bypass that check. They have their uploads available real-time. But:

We do not expect you to pay us for being able to upload your photos.

You can upload photos with a free account. Forever. Period.

Just the number of uploads per week is limited, as is the photo size. And there is our quick content check after you uploaded a photo (see above).

Those limitations aren't there to annoy you, or to force you into a paid membership. It's just that running a site like netAirspace costs money. We would love to let you upload thousands of photos every day, for free. Our database would then grow quicker. But unfortunately, so would our hosting bill.

As a free member, you can upload 5 shots per week, with a photo size up to 1,280 px.

Business Class gets 20 uploads per week, with a size up to 1,600 px. We still content-check the photos, as all new members automatically get 1 free month when signing up.

First Class gets unlimited and direct uploads, with a size up to 2,048 px. Your membership fee helps us covering the hosting costs, so we can offer you more and bigger uploads - that's all.

We award you bonus Miles for your photos.

Not airline miles, though (not yet, at least), but netAirspace Miles. There are many ways to earn them. One of them is to upload photos. You will receive 1 mile for each view, and there are lots of photo-related achievements that can earn you more miles.

Miles can be used to buy free premium memberships, and we will add more ways to spend them in the future.

Any questions? Please contact us!

Please let us know what we can do for you. Don't be afraid to contact the crew, or post questions in the forum. Especially not if there is something you are not happy with.

Our crew is here to help. This site is not run by a corporation, or investors, but by spotters and aviation enthusiasts, just like yourself.

We will not ban you, or show you the door, just because you gave us an honest feedback. If you take the time to give us feedback, we will take the time to read and listen. Get in touch with us, give us a moment to respond, and we will see what we can do for you.

Of course, you can also tell us that you like the site. Or better still - tell your friends that you like the site. We still have room to grow, and new members are always welcome.

And if you have a large aviation photo collection online already, please do contact us, and we will try to make it easier for you to copy it over to netAirspace as well.

Thanks a lot for your support and contribution! {thumbsup}
Ideology: The mistaken belief that your beliefs are neither beliefs nor mistaken.

This can't be stressed enough. Whatever you upload, unless it is non-aviation themed or has some offensive content goes up. You can view your photo and share it almost immediately; you don't have to wait for weeks just to see if it even got accepted. Instant gratification.

This isn't airliners or jetphotos; use your artistic side, try something new, it won't get rejected. Netairspace is a great place to showcase your photos, your ideas, your techniques.

Enjoy it and spread the word.
And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

And there WILL be people like me who see your interesting motives and just go insane with happiness, because I'm pretty obsessed with the creative shots, including ones that showcase the human element of aviation.
