Watching tonight . . . .

The Dalton Highway, Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay.

I worked it for 6 years.

The Roller Coaster, Beaver Slide, Gobbler's Nob, Chandalar Shelf, that frackin' Atigun Pass, Oil Spill Hill, the Ice Cut, Franklin Bluff . . . .

Wow, the memories . . .

Blowing snow, minus 50 with a 50mph wind . . . .

Sometimes 20 feet wide, sometimes, well best guess. Sometimes delineators to mark the edge, mostly not.

Excellent series.

I'm not a fan of this show usually, cause a 40 foot wide ice road across a lake is cool, but the Dalton Highway can pwn3d you ass right now. Been there, done that, got a lot of T-Shirts . . . .

And who says girls can't drive trucks up here . . . check out LISA. Could become my new favorite name . . .

Having worked around trucks and truck drivers I can't understand why anyone would sit in front of the TV to listen to grown men whine.
I like my coffee how I like my women: Black, bitter, and preferably fair trade.

That's who I was talking about in the "Deadliest Catch" thread...

She's got the right attitude for the job. Unfortunately, the two Canucks they hired have egos and they're paying for it now by having to sit there and watch the safety driver do the work.
Slider... <sniff, sniff>... you stink.

Typically, I'm not attracted to women who could kick my ass....but I'll make an exception for her. Too bad she's married. {vsad}

Yeah, Hugh wasn't too happy when he got pulled out of the driver's seat. I thought the poor guy was going to cry. Alex, though, doesn't seem to have the chip on his shoulder like Hugh.

I have tried numerous times to get into this show, however I simply can't. This is exactly how I feel after trying. Why did I just do that?
