Just watched this on the news, there's loads of the things. Not sure I would fancy flying just above the Persian Gulf at 100kts + in something with made in Iran stamped on it.

Some US news sources have suggested they could be designed for suicide attacks and are calling them "Kamikaze Flying Boats" {scratch}

Against civilian shipping? I just can't see it working against a naval vessel unless they're going to send hundreds. As Vic points out, it'll be interesting if they discover that these things scale.

They do look like great fun, though.

AFG's is classified as an airplane.

The Iranian gizmos are ekranoplanes, and rely on ground effect. They cannot climb to the altitude shown in the video above.
