Intriguing. I thought the reason for the others was the terrain in the undershoot, so I'd love to know how a stumpy conventional g/s is working. Not that I'd understand...

Well, I suppose it's possible that they simply haven't finished building the GS tower, but I tend to doubt it. Not sure what you mean by "terrain in the undershoot".

Oh, I think I get it. If I remember correctly, the reason for the fence-like GS was obstruction clearance between runways/taxiways. So wingtip clearance, basically.
