Taken near the section A spike camp on the Chippy Creek Fire, which was 99,900 acres in size. This Carson helicopter was snorkeling from the Thompson River in NW MT; two months later it was in Australia.

Thanks! It's always weird for me to realize that this was the last North American fire it fought, at least as far as I can tell.
