I am asking for feedback from the NAS Daily readers; I am thinking of doing away with the "Humor" section.

Any additional comments welcome.

I say keep it. Unless you're running out of material.
Make Orwell fiction again.

That, or it is a PITA to find good material. If either are the case, switch my vote.
Rack-em'. I'm getting a beer.

Aviation humour, great, more of it please. Other humour, not so much. {twocents}
My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.

Agree with Ed.

And if you can't always find Aviation Humor, then simply leave it out for that day.
LET'S GO BRANDON!!!!

I enjoy it, even the stuff that's not exactly aviation.

I'm not into reading threads full of jokes, but one a day is good.

Fully agreed as well.

But my vote still goes to Potato.

Agreed.

I also don't mind a certain amount of recycling - the SR-71 backseater one always raises a smile no matter how many times I see it!
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

The problem is, there is only so much out there. If I ditch non-aviation humor, it will leave large holes, and sometimes a week or two could go by without having a joke.

As it is, I have begun making the templates for 2014, and it is very time consuming. Yes, a lot of jokes are recycled from year to year, but we either leave it as is, or it goes into the round file. To weed out non-av jokes will be a no-go.

Why not pick one day a week and keep it fresh that way?

Yep, just like the airlines...some destinations only get service once a week.
What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?

That's not a bad idea at all. Friday would be a good day.
Make Orwell fiction again.

The templates are done, now comes the fun part: populating them. {crazy}
