On Monday, 21 October 2013, between 0430 and 0600 UTC, our server will undergo scheduled maintenance. The operating system, database environment, and several service programs will be updated.

This will require some services to be re-started, which may lead to occasional errors during the above mentioned period of time.

After the update, the server needs to be restarted, which will lead to a downtime of around 5-10 minutes.

During the maintenance phase, please make copies of longer posts before submitting them, just in case the server will not respond when you try to post them. Thanks a lot for your understanding!

The maintenance is complete and does not seem to have caused major issues - except for the font of the copyright bar underneath our photos, that appears to be broken.

The reason is probably that ImageMagick and GraphicsMagick - the two programs that generate our images, including the copyright bars - have been updated as well. We're on it and hope to have it fixed soon. Don't worry, once it's fixed, all photos will look normal again.

I was going to point that out... other that that I have not seen any issues
