So I never considered saving a can of Pound Cake from a "C" Ration, one of the best parts of the C Ration, but this Colonel did.

I remember the C-Ration with a passion really. You can keep the MREs, I'll keep the Cs. Alpo; Speghetti, Greens Eggs and Ham . . . I think the Cs were much better than the MREs.

And the pound cake. Fist fights have started over that pound cake. :))
