Happy sixth of May. Hope you're done enjoying margaritas for the time being. Thanks again for supporting this. I'm having fun posting these. Enjoy.
Nikon D5000 DSLR
"If you are looking for a camera that’s priced under $1000, check out the Nikon D5000 DSLR. This smart camera comes with some very interesting features that make it a good buy.
It comes with a 12.3 megapixel sensor that gives whopping quality pictures and videos. The 2.7-inch swivel screen is convenient to use and you can view video right here at 24fp. Video shooting is enhanced by various scene modes and settings. It has 11 auto focusing points by which picture quality is highly enhanced."
Eco Tech: Giant ‘anacondas’ could power 50,000 homes in five years
"With wind and solar energy generating systems tottering under cost burdens, inventors have started looking forward towards ways to generate renewable energy at a surprisingly low cost to attract governments globally. The idea of generating electricity from ocean waves has been around for decades, but not many of them met reality. A UK-based company, Checkmate is settling the odds with a wave generator they call “Anaconda”.
"500 days—or thereabouts: That's the amount of time between now and the final flight of the awesome Space Transportation System, better known to you and me as the Space Shuttle. Here's what comes next..."
"From bed to bathing suit, spend a day with Transformers star Megan Fox in this film shot for Esquire by Greg Williams on the Red One camera. Get the full story and portfolio in Esquire's June issue, on sale May 10."
"A time lapse video made by setting a camera to take photos at six second intervals during a trip outbound on the Houston Ship Channel. I used Quicktime to assemble over 2000 individual photos into a 3 minute movie representing an actual time of over 3 1/2 hours. The ship was only moving at 5-6 knots for the first half of the trip and up to 10 knots in the open areas away from the docks. The journey begins just below the Port of Houston turning basin at the end of the channel and continues down to Morgan's Point at the head of Galveston Bay. We still had 32 miles to go to get out to the pilot station in the Gulf of Mexico at that point. The ship is a Panamax tanker 600 feet long by 106 feet wide."
"A Texas startup has finally pulled the wraps off its 40-mpg, 450-horsepower Scorpion roadster, a hand-built hydrogen-burning "eco-exotic" that is sexier than Angelina Jolie and has the performance to provide more grins than nitrous oxide."

Well, the last one was freaking awesome. (The last picture.) I guess the Fox chick is OK, but I'm not much of a fan of her, and I can't really say why. My Mr. Radar didn't miss your last one, but I was working from early in the morn 'til way late at night, and thanks to some crazies out of Polson, I'm up again after 3 hours sleep, grrr!
Anyway, the last car was also quite cool, but that vette interior really blew chunks.*
*The last car wasn't from your thread, though, and I'm really too tired to phrase things correctly the first time. The body armor WAS cool, and I look forward to being sucked into a giant, unknown, massive celestial something and completely obliterated.

And that power generation system looks kinda like some sort of spermie.
