Screwing the pooch:

And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

They both did. They are have been charged for their actions, so the story says.

Always nice when you can capture the end of your career on video.
I like my coffee how I like my women: Black, bitter, and preferably fair trade.

If they're lucky, they'll be driving a forklift at Target. :))

Definitely an "E" ticket ride at the end, but the initial impact was not a pleasant one.

Ouch, that gotta hurt-those guys onboard, and on the ground were very lucky not to have been killed.

Would they be Air National Guard or regular Army?

Either way they will be down at the job centre after that little joyride.

AIR National Guard doesn't have Apaches . . .

And in today's day in age, doesn't matter whether you're National Guard or Regular Forces, EVERYONE has been to the sand box and has been shot at. There's no distinction.

If you're alluding to the formerly fairly accurate inclination that National Guard Troops aren't as good or well trained as Regular Forces, you should reset your paradigm. After over 10 years of war, no single branch is sub-standard to another.
