Aviation Quote

Victory, speedy and complete, awaits the side which first employs air power as it should be employed. Germany, entangled in the meshes of vast land campaigns, cannot now disengage her air power for a strategically proper application. She missed victory through air power by a hair's breadth in 1940. . . . We ourselves are now at the crossroads.

- Air Marshal Sir Arthur "Bomber" Harris, opening of letter to Winston Churchill, 17 June 1942.

This is probably pointing toward the downing of V-1s by P-47s and Spitfires by tipping their wings and throwing off their gyro navigation systems.

As a customer who flies a lot, one of the things I look at is the number of flights with F available. Currently from BHM it's only about 20% of their flights vs. ~ 70% for AA and 100% for DL. There are many reasons why AA, DL, and WN handle much more traffic than UA here and this is definitely one of them. E135s just don't cut it, they're better than a CR1/2 but only barely so.
