Four dead in plane crash in Chicago suburb Four people were killed when a small plane crashed on Saturday morning near Crystal Lake, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, officials said. The accident happened at around 10:30 am local time, according to Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory. The Marion Pilots Club in Marion, Indiana is the registered owner of the plane, according to the FAA registry. Link
Hebei Aviation Investment inks deal for 10 COMAC ARJ21s Hebei Aviation Investment Group has inked an agreement with the Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (Comac) to purchase 10 Comac ARJ21 regional jets. The deal was signed on 25 November in Hebei province. The delivery date of the aircraft and the financials details of the deal were not disclosed. Link
Coventry’s cargo comeback Just six weeks after cargo services resumed at Coventry Airport (UK) a contract with a second carrier has been signed. Coventry has secured business with German all-cargo airline Nightexpress, which has transferred its operation from Birmingham Airport (UK). This new contract follows a deal agreed earlier this month with Atlantic Airlines for flights to Maastricht (the Netherlands), Lille (France) and Dublin (Ireland). Link
Air Malta moves on Tripoli AIR Malta will resume the movement of cargo and passengers to Tripoli (Libya) on 28 November. The flights, which will carry belly freight, will operate three times a week. Link
Abu Dhabi Airport sees growth continuing Abu Dhabi's airport expects continued double-digit growth in passenger numbers near term as its national carrier Etihad Airways develops and the emirate continues to expand its economy, the airport operator's CEO said. James Bennett, chief executive of Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), also said a contract to build the airport's mid-field terminal would be completed by the second quarter of 2012. Link

A fighter pilot goes to a bar after a good days flying. Whilst there he meets a young, attractive and available lady. She is charmed by his tales of aerial combat, high speed flight, and death defying feats. The inevitable happens and they slip away to somewhere more comfortable for an evenings intimate entertainment.
Much later that night the pilot drives home to his long suffering wife. On the way he puts on his oxygen mask and draws the straps up as tight as they will go. When he gets home he removes the mask and bravely enters the house. Immediately he tells the wife exactly and honestly what he has been up to that evening.
She replies: "Do not lie to me, I can see you have been flying that damned airplane yet again".
