Air Italy Ceases Operation and is Liquidated
Air Italy today announced it had ceased operations with immediate affect following a shareholder meeting in which Alisarda and Qatar Airways, through AQA Holding spa, are major shareholders.
All Air Italy flights that were scheduled to operate between 11th February 2020 and 25th February 2020 will be operated by other carriers at the times and on the days previously scheduled.

Following London Launch Jazeera Airways Profits Are Up 124%
The 2019 financials are in for Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways and there’s reason for the airline to celebrate. Today it announced a net profit of 14.9 million Kuwaiti Dinar for 2019, equivalent to approximately US$48.9 million. The most impressive part: this is an increase of 124.1% from the previous year.

Domodedovo Airport introduces sustainable approach to cabin waste
Moscow Domodedovo Airport (DME) has become the first airport in Russia to introduce a sustainable approach to waste management.
Under a new joint initiative with S7 Airlines, Domodedovo Airport has become a pioneer with a new way to sort aircraft cabin waste, which will see the airport sort and process for further recycling approximately 45 tonnes of cardboard, plastic and polythene each month.

Bristol Airport expansion rejected by North Somerset Council
Bristol Airport’s (BRS) planning application to expand the airport and its capacity has been rejected by North Somerset Council. The opening of the debate at the Planning and Regulatory committee meeting saw Councillor Steve Hogg propose a motion that called for members to refuse the application.
