AirlinesAir France To Go Ahead With 2016 Job CutsAir France will cut less than a third of the 2,900 jobs it proposed in a 2016/2017 plan that triggered clashes with some staff, the chief executive of parent company Air France-KLM said. The job cuts in 2016 would be voluntary and heavier job losses in 2017 could be avoided if talks with unions led to an agreement on alternative savings measures by the beginning of next year, chief executive Alexandre de Juniac.

Air Niugini said the aircraft will be used to serve domestic and regional destinations, replacing some of its Bombardier Q400 schedules including Lae, Mt. Hagen, and Hoskins, New Britain.

Hawaiian has 21 A330-200s in its fleet and will add one more by the end of 2015.

The airline launched 18 new domestic and international scheduled services, including routes from Kiev to Beijing, Minsk, Riga, and Thessaloniki.
