AirlinesAeroflot to transfer 13 737-800s to LCC Pobeda Airline Russia’s Aeroflot will transfer 13 Boeing 737-800s to its low-cost subsidiary (LCC) Pobeda Airline on a long-term sublease. The transfer was approved by Aeroflot shareholders at its annual general meeting. Aeroflot signed a contract for 50 800s to be leased from Russian State Corp. Rostec (Rostechnology) in 2012. In 2013, the first aircraft was delivered to the carrier. According to Aeroflot, its fleet now includes nine 737-800s; Pobeda’s fleet consists of 12 aircraft of the type and operates flights to 34 destinations in Russia.

However, this has not happened and Fly540 Ghana has continued to rack up losses, which totaled $11.3 million at pre-tax level in 2014.
