Oh, and yes, the new Trek isn't Trek and it does SUCK.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I want to. Remember though that I haven't really seen Star Trek as a show. Stone the blasphemer, right. Ahem. Anyway, the previews have made me remember Zoe Saldana. She's a nice looking young lady.

They are exactly right.. A lot of trekkies are mad someone made one of their movies that anyone can appreciate... Many of them want to be a tiny little cult.

That said, having once attended a Trekkie convention (don't ask), I can say that it was remarkably accurate in it's portrayal of Trekkies

So I was watching Adult Swim last night and an ad came on. Apparently, the new Star Trek action figures are in the stores now.
