SAN ANTONIO — What San Antonio police thought was a standoff with a barricaded man and a female hostage ended early Friday with an empty house.

Police went to the house in northeastern San Antonio after a 911 operator received a report about 10 p.m. Thursday of a domestic disturbance there. Tactical officers surrounded the house and hostage negotiators tried to reach the man, but without success.

WOAI-AM of San Antonio reports police entered the house about 2 a.m. Friday and found no one inside. Neither the man nor the woman have been found.

Believe me.. It isn't the first time the whole cavalry has gone to an empty house/ apartment.. We had one of those ourselves a few months back.. Luckily the media found our Chief being suspended and resigning far more entertaining.

At least they didn't kick the wrong door during a search warrant . . . thought Ma and Pa Kettle would shit themselves right then and there . . . fortunate I was NOT the lead on the stack or the case officer.
