I pass this place all the time, but just today bothered to take a picture of it. Car washes are big business in West Texas, people are vain about the appearance of their "Cowboy Cadillacs" and this one was thriving and busy. Then one day they decided to hang a new banner to cash-in on the "Green" fad.
Most of the people in West Texas grew up smelling bullshit, so they know it when they smell it.
Well, it looks like they've got enough plant growth to offset their carbon emissions...

IIRC, the green car washes in and around MSP use less water, utilize solar water heating, and/or use enviro-friendly detergents. Dunno if that's the story with "your" car wash.

Look closely at the pictures and you'll notice that Queso's car wash has completely eliminated the use of water, detergent, and all energy...

A two-year old article on this place.....great to see how the changes have kept the old business coming back, and brought in even more business. I'd love to see their latest balance sheet
