Ok, clichéd phrase, I know.

But read this:

Two people are in custody Thursday in connection with Wednesday night's drive-by slaying of a 9-year-old girl who was outside her grandmother's house washing her dog when she was shot in the neck, according to a published report.

I know that many will disagree, but for things like this, done to women and children, I see little difference between the person and an animal that's turned. I wish for our sake that such evil things would somehow simply kill them instantly so that there would be no moral dilemma for us.

Anyway, ship them to the arctic sea and let them see if they can survive.

News like this makes me very upset. It is unfortunate that the people that did this were, well, human. A dog would simply be put down...sigh.

Don't send them here . . .

Just shoot them.

Be done with the worthless bastards, just kill them and get it over and done . . .

That or we spend $50 a day keeping their useless, worthless behinds alive for 50 years.

Kill them now and get beyond this.

I'll bet you now that half the traffic on I55(s) every weekend is a bunch of loser POSs headed to Joliet for their weekend visit with whatever worthless asshole cousin, brother, son, nephew, is incarcerated there . . . . all equally useless to society. Kill 'em off now swe don't have further problems in the gxene pool.
LET'S GO BRANDON!!!!

Funny you mention Illinois, Pep. Interesting fact: # of executions in Illinois history: 12. # of death row inmates exonerated and innocent: 18.

Sure, that first number is so low because of crooks like Ryan and his commutations rendering the law of the land in IL obsolete and spitting on the trial and sentencing proceedings in those cases, but thats another story.

My point is simple, I support the death penalty, but it needs to be handled on a case by case basis and with the greatest care and concern, and arguably I think a greater burden of proof than other convictions.

The successes of our criminal justice system throughout the years are founded on restraint, and not knee jerk reactions. Your heart is in the right place, but your post does make me uneasy all the same.

The fucker that did that should die. Make no mistake But it has to be done the right way. Thats the burden and responsibility we have to bear, and I think it's worth it i the big picture.
