Another one of the 'greats' is gone. Died this morning it seems. Poor guy had alot of financial issues the last few years.

Rest in peace, Mr. McMahon.

It makes me wonder how much longer America's oldest living teenager, Dick Clark, will be with us.

He also served is country in both WWII and Korea as a fighter pilot in the Marine Corps, retiring with the rank of Colonel sometime in the 60s I think.

IIRC, he was also a general in the California Air Natl Guard.

Really sorry to hear that. He was a great guy. I remember watching "Star Search" when I was little. I know he was going through tough times the last couple years. Sad that he couldn't have lived in peace. Anyway may he RIP, farewell Mr. McMahon.

Salute to General McMahon. Served his country in WW2, and in Korea, and later. A Veteran. A General Officer. A Marine General Officer. Semper Fi Marine.

Carson and McMahon. The Tonight Show hasn't ever been the same.

He will be missed.

His setup of poor Myrtle Young in 1987 was classic. Out of sight but yet a clear and important role.
