Just heard on the radio that the Kill Bill and Kung Fu movie star was found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok.

A suspect is being sought in the case. The suspect was described as being a bride.

I liked watching him opposite Glenn Ford in "Heaven With A Gun".

I wonder if he only spent "One Night In Bangkok".

Article says he committed suicide.

Too bad, really. I've always heard he was an egotistical asshole though.

What a place to die. Hanging half-naked from a curtain rope from a closet bar in a closed closet. Oh, the wonderful dignity!

Hmm...so...was this an 'accidental' suicide due to autoerotic asphyxiation?

Maybe it was a mutual act and the 12 year old Thai boy took off. {mischief}

That was my first thought, but who knows. IIRC, Aussie door dangler Michael Hutchence succumbed to similar activities.
A million great ideas...

From TMZ...

We just spoke to a rep for David Carradine, who claims the actor's death was not a suicide.

The rep said David's death was "accidental." And there's this ... the BBC is now reporting that David's body was found hanging with a rope around his neck and "other parts of his body."

Carradine's body was found nude, hanging in a closet.

David's rep added, "We can confirm 100% that he never would have committed suicide. It was an accidental death. Everybody is in shock."

Heh...it would've been more dignified if it was. Nice job, agent.

That's why Michael Hutchence death was ruled a 'suicide'. AFAIK, sometimes the relatives have a say in the cause.

Though it would be interesting later as some insurance policies only pay out on accidental deaths, not suicides.
