Ferris Buellers friends home up for sale

Everything that would not belong anywhere else.

Wish I had the cash and that the home was located someplace warm all year round. Still, a piece of history for the one that gets it. Wonder if they will have a Ferrari to put in the display room?

What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?

Interesting-looking place, but it would be like living in a fish tank. I can't make up my mind on it, but I'm tending toward "don't like". Certainly don't like it enough to drop 2.3 million on it, especially in this economic climate!
My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.

I WAAANT that! {laugh} Considering how I'm a sucker for Bauhaus architecture (liked the iit campus a lot, for example), there is no way I couldn't like this place. Perhaps there's a bit too much transparency for my taste, but that's hard to tell from the video. Otherwise, a Bauhaus home in a forest would be my place to live in... in fact, I wouldn't be too surprised if it said "Mies van der Rohe" somehwere on the plans for that home.

So thank you for posting this!

Not a fish tank. A terrarium...in Chicago. I don't know about the people who've lived there, but I'd rather have a 2x6 wall filled with fluffy, pink insulation when it's -20 degrees outside. I doubt all that glass makes it very cozy when the east wind is howling at 30 mph on January 15th.

Did the fix the window and pull the Ferarri off the side of the hill?

Pretty sweet house. I live in a modernist, glass house now. Even though it was in an awesome movie though, I wouldn't move to Chicago to live in it.
I root for natural disasters.

"Feast." A novel. (by Spicoli himself)
