Hi everyone, I have been following this forum for a while but decided to get on with it and sign up (I will upload some photos later today). It looks like a nice community.

My nearest big airport is LHR which I visit regularly to take photos; other airports I've been to include Sydney, Manchester, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. I'm hoping to visit LAX later this year.

I'll upload some photos later.

We have two meets over two weekend, the 25th/26th of June and 02nd/03rd of July, looks like you'll miss us by ten days or so.

Very nice indeed. Just a heads up, any photos uploaded with a watermark other than the netAirspace.com WM won't make it to the home page. You can adjust the NAS WM for size and intensity.

Thank you for the comments. I'll make sure to use photos out of my non-watermarked folder when uploading on here.
Re the NAS watermark - is there an 'official preference' for size, opacity and location? I know there are options but do the screeners prefer it not to be across the main subject, etc.?

No, it is up to your preference. And the screeners are really selecting what goes on to the home page. The images are rotated hourly.

The netAirspace watermark is our optional offer for photographers to protect their images against theft. As miamiair said, it should not influence the decision of the screeners.

Just wanted to add that, if you select to add a watermark, then no one at netAirspace will see the un-watermarked version of the photo. Not even the screeners.

You can also change the location, size and strength of the watermark retroactively, at any time. AFAIK, that's a unique feature for netAirspace

But I should also add that, at the moment, the watermarks are stronger than intended. That's a software problem we haven't fully been able to locate yet. But we still hope to get it fixed soon, so that the "very faint" setting will indeed deliver a very faint watermark.
