The app I use shows the weather looking pretty good, though it is still a long range forecast so probably not too accurate.

For what it's worth, every year I've found that the really cheap flights start a couple of weeks after the usual date, so early February might mean big savings for those of us on the wrong side of the pond. :)
My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.

The fares for february are really good indeed, let's hope that the hotel rates would be cheaper as well...
