The FRA Meet was awesome! Airtrainer, Flyswiss, HT-ETNW, Yokes and myself met at McDonald's in Terminal 2, and went to the Luftbrückendenkmal / A5 spot from there (thanks to Holger and Jochen for the driving).

We spent the entire day there. Weather was great, and damn, FRA has some interesting variety of traffic! {bugeye}

Here's a small selection. And there are many more to come:

Vietnam 772

Air Bridge Cargo 774F

Etihad A345

Qatar Dreamliner (my first 787)

Lufthansa A380

Korean Air Cargo 744F

KLM Cargo 744F

As I said, there are many more.

Great company, nice dinner on Saturday, interesting spots, and an unmatched traffic variety - perfect spotting weekend!

No mugshots?

Talking about normal people photos there. As in, show pics of attendees. ;)

I was a little embarrassed to only recently find out that FRA is the airport with the most international destinations. I can imagine the selection of aircraft!

Last night I browsed through my pictures taken and hardly any are worth to consider to upload. :-(

One for Pep :

I wasn't aware that still so much military freight goes via FRA, as Army trucks kept coming. Leaving the airport they were driving north on the A5 motorway past the spotting location. Destination unknown. Maybe Wiesbaden's Lucius D. Clay Kaserne (Barracks) which has become the new US-Army Headquarters in Europe ?

And I am not sure of the following one (resized here) would be worth to upload to the database. I especially like the clouds in the background:
