This Halifax was shot down 27/28 of April 1942 during bombing run on the Tirpitz in Norway. All the crew survived by bailing out. Aircraft sunk to the bottom of a lake where it was surfaced during recent years.

Yes, paul, it was very errie looking at it in the Museum, however I couldn't help but stare at it for over half an hour at the time. Glad no crew died in it!
