PJIA entrance hall, with the check-in desks on the left. Taken from the passport control area. I had asked a security officer if it was allowed to take photos from there. "Yes, of course - why do you ask?" :)

This is a great terminal shot. Lemme guess, the terminal is only slammed packed full of people on the days (and hours) that the European heavies depart.

Peak hours are every day between 1100 to 1600, as also the US flights depart then. But the airport can absolutely handle it, it's very effective.
