I count 34, and can't recall a shot in our DB with more airborne. Not too many shots with that many on the ground...

thanks for the kind comments - there were 3 formations each of 16 aircraft (T6, T28's, Yak 52 / CJ6 & T34) but even at 100mm could not fit all in. Just lucky to get what i did
