Seriously! What the heck is up with those wingtip fuel tanks? Seems like an unnecessarily complex way of mounting them.

I don't see any filler cap on them, and my best guess is that they're full of sensing equipment.

They are full of sensors,which need to be as far away from the engines as possible,hence the odd configuration
