2001: An Avjet charter flight, a Gulfstream III jet with 15 passengers and 3 crew, crashes on approach into Aspen, CO, killing all on board.
2016: Egypt Air flight MS181, a domestic flight from Alexandria (HBE) to Cairo (CAI) is hijacked by a passenger wearing a bomb belt and diverted to Larnaca (LCA), Cyprus. After several hours, all hostages are released and the hijacker is arrested. The bomb belt turns out to be fake.
