A Learjet 55, took off from from the Northeast Philadelphia Airport about 18:30 local time and crashed less than four miles away.

The aircraft involved was a Learjet 55, Mexican-registry XA-UCI, operating as Med Jets 56. All six persons on board died,plus one on the ground.
