RAF BBMF Spitfire Crash

An RAF pilot died when RAF BBMF MK356 Spitfire crashed in a field close to an RAF station at Coningsby on Saturday, where the BBMF are based.
The aircraft suffered an engine failure shortly after take off (according to some reports,) and came down in a field, where it flipped over.
Sadly the pilot did not survive.

RIP to the pilot,their family,colleagues and friends.

The aircraft was MK356, a Supermarine Spitfire LF.IXe
