I don't know for sure what happened here (is that web page in Greek? ;) ), but apparently a Swiss Air Force Northrop F-5E Tiger II, registration J-3089, impacted snow covered mountainous terrain during a training flight in Melchsee-Frutt, Obwalden, Switzerland.

The jet was destroyed and the sole pilot onboard ejected and survived with no injuries.

Looks like an engine failure-launch the St.Bernard Dog! I wonder do Swiss Air Force Pilots have a Toblerone in their survival pack.?
