OUL-HEL-ARN (AY) and back next weekend. It was always going to be OUL-HEL-something, but the idiotic shipping policies of a certain global sporting chain, combined with the idiotic shipping policies of every forwarder I can find, mean that getting on a plane is the easiest and cheapest way to get the specific kayak I want. (It's inflatable and weighs less than 20kg, so goes in the hold easily, and isn't crap or stupidly expensive.) That and a few other details narrowed it down to ARN or CDG, and CDG narrowed it down to ARN.
There'll be an OUL-HEL-IVL (AY) in the summer, for sure. I did a kayaking trip from Ivalo last summer, and I'm planning to do it again, this time with my brother.
Still just the faintest whiff of OUL-HEL-TLV for work hanging around, but I'm not betting on it. That should have happened right when Covid did...
My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.
