It seems one of O'Learys Boeing 737-800 has been severely damaged right in front of the maintenance hangar at London-Stansted.

According to aviation.direct it might be a write-off.

PS: Blue Handling, the Ground handling company that caused the damage, is also owned by Ryanair.

Nose gear collapse? In the twitter video it looks like the airframe is broken behind the forward boarding doors.
What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?

Literal translation: "Somehow, for unknown reasons, the tow truck got underneath the aircraft causing the damage".

I guess someone is looking for a new job. FR has sacked people for a lot less.

Must have hit something structural/fragile that we can't see. To the eye it looks like a tin basher could fix that in a few days but there are some sensitive avionics in that area so it's believable that the damage is a lot more serious than it appears.
A million great ideas...

I've heard and seen that tale numerous times. Be interesting to know how fast the tow truck was going when it drove under the aircraft. Years ago we actually had a snow plow driver do some serious damage to an airplane he couldn't see as it was snowing so hard. He was cleaning the ramp and plowed into the back of a 737 causing skin and structural damage all the way up to the aft cargo door.

FR, with their warchest/cash flow is generally known to prefer the legal way and to go to court and sue to sort things out...will be interesting in this case, because, as previously mentioned, the tow truck company is just another subsidiary of the Ryanair Holding.

Definitely not their first write-off, because that happened in 2008:

My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.
