Ran across this 8-minute video of the military boneyard in the Sonoran Desert near Tucson, Arizona. The boneyard is overseen and operated by the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) at Davis–Monthan Air Force Base.
I noticed a load of C-9 Nightingale/Skytrain II aircraft. Wouldn't it be nice to see some of those in the air again?

Toured it several years ago. If you are in the Tucson area the Pima Air and Space museum is a must. At the time we were there you could buy a guided bus tour of the AMARG storage facility for like an extra $10. I can't recommend it highly enough. In fact, it would be a great place for a meet. Just a ways back up the road towards Phoenix is the Pinal County Airpark boneyard which has opened for tours with a reservation.
What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?
