Nearly 130 Boeing 777 grounded after engine failure
Following the incident, Boeing requested the grounding of 128 aircraft around the world pending a safety inspection on February 21, 2021. “While the NTSB investigation is ongoing, we recommended suspending operations of the 69 in-service and 59 in-storage 777s powered by Pratt & Whitney 4000-112 engines until the FAA identifies the appropriate inspection protocol,” announced the manufacturer following the incident.

Fake deaths of Thai Airways workers under investigation
Thai Airways staff have been allegedly faking their own deaths in order to claim funeral payouts, costing the airline almost half a million dollars.
According to the National Thailand, since 2013, there have been 26 cases of fake death certificates issued for Thai Airways employees that have reportedly kept working for the airline.

Mexican Air Force Learjet suffers fatal crash, kills 6
As it was taking off from Xalapa-El Lencero Airport (JAL), in Veracruz, Mexico, a LearJet 45XR aircraft registration 3912 of the Fuerza Aérea Mexicana (the Mexican Air Force) hit a soil slope and crashed in a field, 120 meters from the runway. The aircraft burst into flames. The 6 military personnel on board the plane were killed.
