Pirate Attack in the Baltic Sea?!

Everything that would not belong anywhere else.

Looks like a freighter sailing under the Maltese flag was captured by pirates in the Baltic sea, between Sweden and Finland, last week. Reportedly, the "Arctic", that was carrying logs, was assaulted by group of 8 masked, english speaking men who claimed to be drug police. The Russian crew was held captive, some of them claimed to have been beaten by the attackers.

After a couple of hours, during which the pirates searched the ship - for drugs, police supposes - crew and ship were released again.

The Finnish shipping line reported the incident only to the Russian Embassy to Finland, but not to other authorities (which seems a bit strange to me as well), thus it hit the news only now.
