Ah geez, figures.

We'll see if work will let me switch my day off....

Its a GO for tomorrow.
And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

I'm driving down to Houston in the morning to see it.

At KSC waiting for the press office to open up.

Decisions, decisions... The light is going to suck for a 7:00 departure. Just half an hour, that's the delay I want.

What's the departure airport code for today's flight? I'm racing down I-45 to get down there for the arrival.
miamiair (netAirspace FAA) 19 Sep 12, 10:19Post
Departure will be slightly delayed due to low clouds.

The top of the VAB is in the clouds.

Evwry minute helps on my end as well. It's going to be rush hour when I go through. 220 miles to EFD.

So long Endeavour, it was great having you here.

A fitting departure, she disappeared into the low clouds; headed west.

Thanks.

Like you were leaving a funeral.

There's a bit of that here as well. Many still pissed off that NYC got one instead of Houston.

I'd have to agree. Nonsensical, to say the least.

KSC, Houston, Smithsonian, Dayton - the four that should've gotten them, 'nuff said.

I'd put a vote in for NASA Langley. They did a hell of a lot for our Shuttle Program.
Rack-em'. I'm getting a beer.

Atlantis is staying at KSC. A specialized building is being built for it.

Chase aircraft:

The GIB was snapping photos.

The pathfinder N932NA is a DC-9, but the light absolutely sucked.

Shuttles were built in SoCal....I'd say that's doing a lot for the program as well. ;)

Never mind the landings at EDW.
